Breaking My Silence deals with the following issues:
• Sexual assault of a minor (not on the page, but it is discussed in detail after the fact)
• Knife violence
• Narcissistic parental abuse
• Slut shaming
• Teenage bullying
• Secondary character’s struggle with teen dating violence
• Underage drinking
• Sexually explicit content
• Profanity
Also please note that this story does take place in a high school, but both characters are eighteen for the majority of the book.
